Tomorrow is the deadline to submit your 2008 personal tax filings to the CRA, which is a pretty big deal for all the perpetually-tardy nerdy girls out there ............... WHY, you ask?
Because the tax man cometh... BAM, BAM, BAM!!
But on serious note, all individuals are required by law to file a tax return (yes, even if you have no income in the calendar year) by the April 30 deadline. Self-employed individuals and contractors have until June 15th to submit, however the CRA calculates interest on tax payable as at April 30.
Translation: Aim for April 30th!
